Hello beautiful ladies!

A little about me: I am a happy Christian, wife of an amazing husband, Mom of a wonderful 18 year old son, full time career teaching adults in the IT industry which is a job I love, daughter, sister, friend and pet owner of a beautiful, sweet English Mastiff.

When I’m not doing things for others, I like to shop! You know it’s what’s on the inside that counts the most, but since we do have to wear clothes, I really enjoy finding good quality at sale prices. I look for the most comfortable pieces that still make me feel put together. I stay too busy to shop in stores very often, so I mostly shop online. I like trying things on at home in natural light better anyway.

I couldn’t find many blogs of women showing outfit ideas that are of average size, so I’m being brave, putting myself out there and creating this one! I am certainly no professional blogger, so please be patient with my progress! What I can say though- I do NOT use filters or a professional photographer, so you get to see the items exactly how they are, unfiltered. The colors of the items will be as accurate as a naked camera can show. The fit is what the items look like on an average size woman (I wear 10’s and 12’s). I admire all of you size zero and size two ladies, but almost everything looks good on tiny sized ladies. I find it to be a struggle to find clothes that feel good and look good on me. And since I've basically been this size since my 20's, and I eat healthy (oh how I love to eat! maybe I'll do a page of some of my fav healthy recipes someday) and exercise regularly, I have no illusions of getting smaller any time soon and I am so ok with that! I feel great and simply want to look my best too. 

Also, I don't like...make that hate... "disposable" clothing. You know the kind that seems like an out of this world steal of a deal, but then doesn't make it through two washes? No, I work too hard for my money to spend it on disposable clothes.  I look for quality! (Unless I know it's a one season trend, then I shop super inexpensive.) Quality at a bargain price is my kind of deal, and is what I will share with you.

So this blog is a kind of journey to find great pieces, which brings me to you! I need your help! I always appreciate your opinions on my finds and ideas! If I post an outfit that doesn’t look good, please tell me! I won’t get my feelings hurt. I would rather know! And maybe we can all learn and have fun together here.
